Adknowledge CEO Discusses the Rise of APAC Digital Marketing on Bloomberg TV in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia –September 8, 2015– Adknowledge CEO Ben Legg was a live guest on Bloomberg TV’s Moving Malaysia show in Kuala Lumpur today. He chatted with host Sophie Kamaruddin about the increasing importance of digital marketing—especially on social media—in the APAC region.

While there’s a general increase in spending, Legg said there’s still a lot of room to grow. "Almost everyone is dipping their toe, but in many cases, that’s all they’re doing," he said. "They should be taking a bath."

Ben Legg is the acting CEO of Adknowledge Asia, a partnership between Adknowledge and Axiata Digital Advertising, a subsidiary of Malaysia-based telecommunications giant Axiata.

Legg and Bloomberg’s Kamaruddin also discussed Adknowledge Asia’s recently announced acquisition of Komli Media Southeast Asia, which bolstered the company’s sales footprint in existing markets Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. The purchase added offices in Thailand and the Philippines. Adknowledge Asia also has sales personnel in India and South Korea.
