ADOTAS - With the acquisition of KITN Media and its Super Rewards virtual currency monetization platform in July, Adknowledge jumped into the murky but rising waters of virtual goods wheeling and dealing. The latest version of the ad network’s auction marketplace has integrated Super Rewards’ offer system, expanding the offerings for both publishers and advertisers while diving headfirst into the morass.
Bidsystem 3.0 integrates email, search and social media advertising into a single platform and allows advertisers to bid for leads on a cost-per-action basis within Facebook and MySpace applications. The remaining ad inventory in the network will continue to be sold on a cost-per-click basis.
Through the Super Rewards acquisition, Adknowledge offers a platform for consumers to sign up for free trials in exchange for virtual currency and gives gaming and app publishers the ability to monetize more diverse incentive offers.
In addition, the release of BidSystem 3.0 makes Adknowledge the fifth-largest advertiser marketplace, trailing Google, Yahoo!, MSN and Facebook.
