Kansas City, London, Sydney – Adknowledge announced today it has acquired the UK and Australian divisions of Media Run, an online advertising network focused on banner advertising with approximately 30 employees.

"Media Run's banner network gives Adknowledge an international footprint in the UK and Australia," said Scott Lynn, CEO of Adknowledge. "This acquisition will extend our reach globally and further into the online banner ad space. Media Run has been one of the fastest growing ad networks in Europe performing well on all types of media. We're excited to have them on our team."

"The combination of Adknowledge's behavioral targeting technologies and marketplace of 50,000 advertisers will lead to explosive growth," said Piers Beckwith, CEO of Media Run and a principal at Pacific Investments Group, the key shareholder of Media Run.

John Cole, Managing Director of Media Run UK, noted: "Now that we're combined with Adknowledge, we expect to solidify ourselves as a leading ad network in Europe capable of providing the best ad rates from our existing advertiser base utilizing Adknowledge's targeting and ad serving technologies."

Moving forward, Media Run will operate under the Adknowledge name within the UK and Australia.
