LOS ANGELES, CA -- July 16, 2007 - Adknowledge announced today the option forbrand marketers to purchase highly targeted segments within its Taglines for Email channel. Taglines are advertisements located at the footer of outgoing emails, consisting of one to two lines of text and a graphical logo. Taglines are inserted into various email communications, including user-generated peer-to-peer email, weather alerts, flight notifications, e-cards, newsletters and other forms of email.
Brand advertisers can cut though the clutter of traditional online advertising by reaching consumers directly via their personal email inbox. Taglines allow brand advertisers to target consumers in a wide variety of ways, including:
-- Time-sensitive brand exposure by time-of-day, day-of-week, etc.
-- Behavioral targeting based on over 20 different categories
Advertisers can also choose to use site or domain-level targeting depending upon where the recipient is reading the email (i.e., AOL, Hotmail, etc.). Taglines offer the opportunity for brand advertisers to reach consumers and heighten awareness by drastically reducing costs of traditional online media. Taglines are sold on a CPM basis and more information is available by contacting the Adknowledge sales department.
